Chinkapin
Oak
These are very unusual and rare oak trees. They are
native to the eastern United States and grow to 60 feet tall with long
narrow heavily serrated leaves. These trees are very beautiful like many
other oaks do not transplant well when they are over 2 feet tall which
is the reason you seldom see them in standard round pots in most
nurseries. The seedlings offered here are 12-18 inches tall and are at a
size that transplants well. The reason for this is that oaks have long
taproots and care must be taken when transplanting them. The smaller the
taproot the easier they will be to transplant These trees are hardy from
zone 4-7. SORRY

Burr
Oak
Burr oak is a classic large oak tree with
characteristic burr covered acorn. These trees can grow to 100 feet tall
and live for hundreds of years. Burr oaks, like many other oaks do not
transplant well when they are over 2 feet tall which is the reason you
seldom see them in standard round pots in most nurseries. The seedlings
